Happy 4th of July: How to Celebrate in California!

Happy Independence Day! In celebration of the 4th, I've collected a few standout California cities to ring in the holiday!

California Hotspots to Spend 4th of July:

1. Lake Tahoe

Fancy a free summer concert and lights over the lake? Tahoe is one of my favorite places to celebrate the 4th. Surrounded by the region's incredible beauty, Lake Tahoe is a great place for families and friends to celebrate together! Find out celebration details here.

2. Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a fun spot to celebrate your holiday weekend. Fireworks over the beach, sunny days on the sand and there's even an Old-Fashioned Ranch celebration with a live Big-Band, music and delicious food. Find out more here.

3. San Diego
The largest firework show in San Diego can be found over the city, widely known as the Big Bay Boom. Picture the waves crashing beside you, as you play beach volleyball then indulge in a BBQ dinner - what's not to love about celebrating an all-American holiday in sunny San Diego! And travel back to the frontier with an old-fashioned celebration in Old Town. More details here.

4. San Francisco
The city by the bay offers a wide variety of activities around the Bay Area. But we all know the magic of San Francisco. Join in many fun festivities including a free concert in Stern Grove Park, the annual Fillmore Festival and end the day with fireworks along the waterfront! More details here.

5. Disneyland
Soak in the magic of this All-American land by day. Then by night watch over the castle as a special fireworks show, "Disney Celebrates America," lights up the night sky set to patriotic songs! Warning, this is one of the busiest days of the year in Disneyland - but I'm sure it's worth it!

*Happy 4th everyone. Be safe & God Bless America!
