Sit Down, Relax and Laugh: TV Shows I'm Loving Right Now.

It's so nice to unwind with a hilarious TV Show! Let's face it there's a lot of bad TV out there...but let's look at the glass half-full, because there are some pretty awesome TV shows that will give your abs a workout from a hardy laugh too! Watching a good show is a great way to relax as a couple after work. It's healthy to sit together and share a common laugh. Here are a few personal rec's:

1. The Mindy Project

I love Mindy. Danny. Peter. Morgan. Hilarious! My boyfriend and I both laugh equally. There's an acute sense of humor for guys and gals to get. You gotta check it out. One episode and you will realize how the witty jokes and impractical goofyness is hysterical and at the same time, very relate-able.

2. Modern Family

Winner, winner! How many Emmy's does it take to realize that this show is a pure gold comedy?! It just works on a simple, hilarious level. Family drama everyone can relate to.

3. The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

From his monologues to laugh-out-loud games, Fallon is amazing and plain FUN to watch! Check out one of my favorite segments: the lip sync battles - this time with the awesome Emma Stone!

Jimmy Fallon sheds a whole new light on celebs. His down to earth youthfulness is infectious. The Tonight Show is a chance for celebs to escape, loosen up and shine in good ol' fun creative skits! Check out how Anne Hathaway puts a Broadway rendition to rap songs. So good!

4. About a Boy

About a Boy is a perfect "chick show" to me. I like to indulge in it mostly on my own; it's not as much laugh-out-loud as it is entertaining. I love the cast. David Waltman and Minnie Driver are fun to watch. Plus, 11-year-old Marcus (the boy) is just great.

5. Growing Up Fisher

J.K Simmons and Jenna Elfman are a comedy duo as dysfunctional, but hilarious parents. Simmons plays Mel, a blind dad who will do anything to keep tabs on his teenage daughter, Katie. I love that we are exposed to a world with a blind dad - it gives perspective and depth to the fun, family comedy.
